BPM Coaching

Business Process Management (BPM) is currently one of the most significant topics on the agenda of the top management of German companies. However, the path to build up a process orientated companiy has to be considered well. The right planks have to be set up. Every company has to find its own way in order to achieve this target.

Therefore the Kompetenzzentrum für Prozessmanagement has developed a role specific coaching concept with modules to address the needs of different orgsanisational roles. 

BPM-Coaching – General understanding
Coaching is not a standardized consulting product. It will be always set up individually to meet the distinct customer requirements. It is of our concern to enable our clients to manage Process Management and find own solutions.
 
BPM-Coaching for Top Management
Three out of eight success factors regarding the implementation of Process Management are the determination of clear objectives, the definition of a consistent strategy and the process orientated adjustment of the organisational structures. To fulfill these requirements and to set up effective general conditions is the responsbility of the Top Management. With our BPM-Coaching for the Top Management we support the development of this frame and the successful implementation of the management method Process Management.

BPM-Coaching for CPO's
The Chief Process Officer (CPO) is the person in charge of all process related subjects on 'C-Level'. It contains the responsibility to keep strategic and process objecitves consistent and complete. Concurrently he is directly responsible for all process related roles, e.g. Process Managers, Consultants, Auditors or Controllers.

Our BPM-Coaching for CPO's support the implementation of the following aspects:
  • Build up of process orientated organisational structures
  • Development of a living process culture
  • Set up of an adjusted process controlling
BPM-Coaching for CIO's 
Very often the CIO is considered to take over the responsibility of the CPO. Or he has to work closely with the named CPO to address process requirements. Therefore this position is drawn closer to the actual business needs defined in the processes. The BPM-Coaching for CIO's support the preparation in order to meet these new challenges.
 
BPM-Coaching for Process Managers/Owners
Most process managers face an ultimate challenge: managing and optimising processes in an organisations with functional structures. Therfore they have work in a matrix structure with no direct competencies and budgets to conduct their management needs. With our BPM-Coaching for Process Managers/Owner we set up handling strategies and accompany within their implementation in order to manage processes in this uneffective organisational environment.
        
BPM-Coaching for Quality managers 
Within the last 20 years many companies build up a staff department for quality management. One of the required tasks was the modelling a processes and their related certification. Unfortunately these described processes often remained paper efforts: the existing working procedures show a major gap with processes from the quality perspective. With our BPM Coaching for Quality managers we define a path from painted to managed processes.
 
BPM-Coaching for Controllers
Controlling instruments often are designed ot meet the management of functional organisations. In the worst case they even impede the management of processes. We support Controllers with our BPM Coaching to adjust all required controlling instruments to facilitate an effective Process Management.
